Your kids may like this. Google just filed a patent for technology that enables drawing blood without using a needle.
This may have broad applications. Basically, blood is drawn using an apparatus that has a vacuum chamber. A micro-particle is fired at the patient’s skin, piercing it. Then the negative pressure in the vacuum chamber will suck up a drop of blood.
This might have applications for diabetics.
Whatever the case, any time no needles are required is a good thing. Kids feel much better without fearing needles poking them. An adults too…
